BMS College of Engineering is an autonomous engineering college in Basavanagudi, Bangalore, Karnataka. The engineering college, started in 1946 by BM Sreenivasiah, was one of the first private sector initiatives in technical education in India and is run by the BMS Educational Trust today. Though a private engineering college, it is partially fund by the Government of Karnataka. The College has an special Placement and Training Centre to facilitate on-campus Placement opportunities to the students.
